  • Camino Sites I Like

A select group of sites that you may find interesting and helpful.
    • Camino de Santiago
All around Camino website with lots of good information.
    • The Confraternity of Saint James
A nice source of information about the Camino. Of special interest is the map of all the routes in one view, the Camino statistics, and up-to-date guidebooks for the refuges, including announcements on their website of newly opened refuges.
    • Jakobsweg - Wikipedia
The Wikipedia entry for the Camino, in German. It is really quite nice with good information. Even if you don't read German you can understand the statistics table showing the ever increasing numbers of people making the Camino each year.
    • Michael to Santiago
A very nice collection of photographs of one man's journey.
    • Pilgrim Wiki
    • Pilgrimsway to Santiago
A couple's site about their walks to Santiago over several years. There is also a Links page which connects you to other pilgrim's sites.
    • Santiago de Compostela Today
Current news about Santiago de Compostela that also highlights information for pilgrims. Check out the pilgrim statistics for the year 2006.
    • Xacobeo
A multi-language site that has an especially nice and detailed presentation of all the routes along the Camino. Look under Pilgrim's Guide.
    • gronze.com
Spanish site with lots of links to books on the Camino, for all the routes, in predominantly Spanish, but there are other languages as well.
    • Caminodesantiago.consumer.es
Spanish site about the Camino. Really nice virtual representation of the stages along the Camino Frances. Has detailed information for each of the stages including terrain, albergues, and sites.
  • Other Camino Links I Like

    • Thoughts on Camino de Santiago
Inspirational thoughts on the Camino with music. Very nice and very true.
    • 2006 Camino de Santiago
Pictures and music of one woman's trip on the Camino from August 2006. Very nicely done.
